The Turpin Spartans are riding high coming off two straight Eastern Cincinnati Conference championships.
Consistent high-performance has been the mark of the program over the last couple of years, and that seems unlikely to change this season, with the Spartans off to a 3-0 start thanks to the play of senior guard Brady Hardewig, who averaged 16.6 points a year ago and is off to an even better start in the young 2022-23 season.
The Spartans are set to take on rival Anderson High School in their final game before the Holiday Hardwood Classic, which will prove to be a good barometer for the state of the team entering the end of December and the subsequent conference slate.
Turpin is set to take on La Salle in the first game of the Holiday Hardwood Classic, tipping off on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 1:00pm.
