Sixteen teams will be participating in the inaugural Beacon/TriHealth Holiday Hardwood Classic and representatives from many of the teams, as well as tournament organizers and sponsors, gathered at the flagship La Rosa's Pizzeria on Boudinot to discuss tournament matters and prepare for the showcase, which tips off on Dec. 27.
Speeches were given by several key figures of the tournament, including Mike LaRosa and tournament organizer Rich Neumann following a catered lunch featuring LaRosa's pizza, salads, and dessert. More pictures of the event are available by visiting the Holiday Hardwood Classic Facebook page.
The Beacon/TriHealth Holiday Hardwood Classic tips off at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University at 1:00pm on December 27. The full schedule is available here. Tickets (which include free parking) are just $10 for the whole day and can be purchased here.
